Things we've decided against for now, and why.
Bookings confirm straight away. Nobody has asked for approval yet — if you need it, tell us, because that's what would change it.
Splitting a repeating meeting sends every guest a fresh invitation, so Forge changes one event or the whole series, never a split.
Retainers and instalments send an invoice and your client pays it. Forge never takes money without them.
We want Forge to be around for years. The founding-member price for our first 500 hosts is our version of one.

Reschedule, cancel, refund or email a client straight from a booking on the calendar, or drag it and confirm. Invoices due, proposals about to expire and follow-ups now sit on their dates, each with its next step one click away.
Drag a booking in Google, Outlook or iCloud and Forge says so, then lets you reschedule the client to the new time or put it back.
Proposals show the subtotal, the VAT and the total, and the invoice your client pays matches the total they signed.
A data processing agreement for your clients, security and accessibility statements, and a way for anyone to report content. You can also link your own privacy notice under your booking form.
Move, resize, rename and delete events on the calendar, all-day ones included. Forge asks before emailing anyone's guests, and won't change a meeting someone else organises.
Whoever books can add other people to the booking, and each guest gets their own invitation.
Refund an invoice in full or in part without opening Stripe. Your reports and client records show the refund straight away.
Record a part payment and every screen shows what's still owed. An overdue invoice gets up to three reminders, and you can switch them off.
Clients get a sign-in link by email and see their upcoming and past sessions and their invoices, in your branding.
Set a rule such as “a day before each session, email the client my prep notes”. Forge sends it on time, and only once.
Ask visitors a few questions and send them straight to the right booking page, with their answers attached to the booking.
